In September, the NZIA Aotearoa Festival of Architecture returns to Auckland, opening doors, sparking conversations, and showcasing the diversity of design across our city.
Architecture has a vital role to play in addressing some of the biggest challenges facing our communities today. At Gel, we’re proud to be part of a profession that’s not only creating beautiful spaces, but also tackling some big issues:
- How can we design for density without losing liveability?
- How do we honour heritage while embracing innovation?
- How can architecture lead the way in sustainability and resilience?
With free public lectures, workshops, open studios, and discussions led by local and international design thinkers, it's a great opportunity to explore the ideas shaping our built environment.
