Visiting A Classic
01 July 2026
Currently on the market by only its second owners, we were invited to visit Marshall Cook’s family home, built in 1987. A home Graeme hadn't been to for 26 years, experiencing it again with past colleagues was a poignant moment.
We talked about how effortlessly the home adapts to life - you can close it right down and feel completely sheltered, or throw it open and host a crowd, (which Marsh and Prue did a lot!) and it works beautifully either way. That's harder to achieve than it sounds.
Graeme reminisces that he didn't understand the magnitude of it in his twenties, but working with Marsh shaped him and his architectural journey immensely. Marshall was a talented force of nature, and he is greatly missed.
