Located on the former Palmers Garden Centre site in West Auckland, this 4,500m² redevelopment transforms an underutilised property into a vibrant mixed-use community destination.
Following successful collaboration with neighbouring property owners and key stakeholders, the site was reimagined as a contemporary urban village that brings together diverse living and commercial opportunities within a cohesive masterplanned environment.
The brief called for a dynamic blend of residential typologies, incorporating both apartments and terraced housing, alongside a carefully curated mix of amenities including retail spaces, a daycare centre, and a gymnasium. The result is a thriving neighbourhood hub that promotes walkability, convenience, and community connection.
Despite the diversity of building forms and uses, the development is unified through a consistent architectural language and carefully considered landscape design, creating a distinctive identity and strong sense of place for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
