This is a substantial re-build of an existing Bay Villa.
Key elements of this project were the addition of an upper storey, pool, landscaping and a garden studio cottage, to accommodate the evolving needs of the family. The main floor plan was extended, providing spacious living areas and improved flow throughout the home. Garaging was also added.
Preserving the historical and architectural significance of the Bay Villa was a priority. The street façade was meticulously designed to harmonise with the existing streetscape character, adhering to the requirements of the Residential One heritage zoning.
The North facing rear of the house now opens up to extensive views over Auckland city and the Waitemata harbour allowing the homeowners to easily enjoy the natural beauty on their doorstep.
